Overview

Doğukan Arda is a 24-metre traditional wooden gulet built in Bozburun, one of Turkey's best-known centres of traditional wooden boatbuilding. Launched in 2023, she accommodates up to 12 guests in six cabins and offers private gulet charters along Turkey's beautiful southwest coast.

What makes Doğukan Arda truly special is the family behind her. She was built by a local Bozburun family whose knowledge of wooden boatbuilding and seafaring has been passed down through generations. Today, the same family continues to own and operate the yacht, preserving the traditions, craftsmanship and genuine hospitality for which Bozburun has long been known.

Guests are welcomed by a crew of four, including the captain/owner, a chef and two deckhands who also take care of cleaning and onboard service. Their personal approach, attention to detail and local knowledge help create a relaxed atmosphere throughout the cruise. Many guests choose to return for another holiday on board, while a significant number of new bookings come through personal recommendations from previous clients.

Based in Bozburun, Doğukan Arda cruises some of the most beautiful parts of the Turkish Riviera, including the Bozburun Peninsula, Marmaris, Hisarönü Gulf, Datça, Göcek and Fethiye. Every itinerary is planned according to weather conditions and guests' preferences, allowing each charter to be tailored to the group on board.

Accommodation

Doğukan Arda accommodates up to 12 guests in six comfortable cabins, providing a practical and welcoming layout for families and private groups. Each cabin offers privacy and en-suite bathroom facilities, while the yacht's layout allows guests to enjoy both shared social spaces and quiet moments during the cruise.

The four-member crew lives in separate crew quarters, ensuring guests can enjoy their holiday with both privacy and attentive service throughout the charter.

On Board

Life on board Doğukan Arda centres around spending time outdoors. The spacious aft deck provides a comfortable setting for open-air breakfasts, long lunches and relaxed evening dinners, while the foredeck offers sunbathing areas where guests can unwind between swimming stops.

Inside, the saloon provides a comfortable indoor space for relaxing, reading or escaping the midday sun. Built using traditional wooden construction, the yacht combines classic gulet character with practical comfort, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout the charter.

The experienced onboard team takes care of the daily operation of the yacht, meals and service, allowing guests to relax and enjoy their time at sea.

Cruising Area

Doğukan Arda is based in Bozburun and primarily cruises the southern Aegean and eastern Mediterranean coastline of Turkey. Popular cruising routes include the sheltered bays of the Bozburun Peninsula, the Hisarönü Gulf, Marmaris, Datça, Göcek and Fethiye.

These regions offer a combination of peaceful anchorages, traditional coastal villages, scenic landscapes and opportunities for swimming, paddleboarding and exploring ashore. Depending on weather conditions and guests' preferences, the captain plans each itinerary to create the most enjoyable cruising experience possible.
